1. Product introduction ofopen channel flowmeter

3. Selection of open channel flowmeter measurement channel sections
The selection of measuring channel sections is directly related to the accuracy of measuring flow. In order to obtain better measurement results, the measuring channel sections should try to meet the following conditions:
1. There are no huge rocks blocking water in the test canal section, and there are no huge whirlpools, turbulence and other phenomena.
2. The test canal section should be straight, stable, and have concentrated water flow.
3. The test channel section needs to be hardened, and the measurement section should be regular.
4. The test channel section should be kept smooth to prevent accumulation of floating objects.
4. Precautions for installation of open channel flowmeter
1. Install the flow meter, water level meter and flow meter radar without obstruction, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected.
2. When installing the flow meter, try to ensure that the upper surface of the housing is level and install it in the middle of the channel.
3. It is recommended that the current meter beam should face the direction of the incoming water, as shown in Figure 3-3, and the horizontal angle to the direction of the water flow should be 0 degrees.
4. The flow meter is only affected by dynamic targets. When the channel is hardened and there are no weeds or trees, even if the beam irradiates both sides of the channel, it will not affect the flow measurement.
