Hydrographic current meterproduct introduction:
Hydrographic current meter is developed for hydrographic survey and farmland irrigation workers. It is used to measure the flow rate and velocity of various open channels and calculate the section flow rate.LS300-B Hydrographic current meter (portable current meter for short) is specially developed for open channel flow velocity and flow measurement in the field by hydrological stations, factories and mines, environmental monitoring stations, farmland irrigation and drainage, hydrogeological surveys and other departments.
LS300-B Hydrographic current meter can be used with flow velocity sensor, the propeller helix angle, pitch, manufacturing process and materials of which have been redesigned. It can measure open channel flow velocity and flow rate and other parameters.

Hydrographic current meter measurement principle:
Flow velocity measurement: When the flow meter is driven by water, its built-in signal device generates a rotation signal. Therefore, the flow velocity can be calculated according to the total number of signals generated by the flow meter within a certain unit period of time by the following formula: v=a+b*R/T (m/s) (automatic calculation)

The total number of revolutions of the velocity meter rotor during the period R-T
For a certain individual flow meter, b and a are constant values. Therefore, when measuring flow, as long as the T and R values are measured, the flow rate can be calculated.
Flow measurement: Input the type of section to be measured, and manually input (or measure through auxiliary sensors) the water level and width of the regular section to calculate the cross-sectional area. The instrument can calculate the flow velocity Q value according to Q=V*S.
